What's the best garage door opener?+
For most homes we recommend LiftMaster 98022 (jackshaft, wall-mount, ultra-quiet) or LiftMaster 6690L (belt-drive, myQ smart, camera, battery backup). We avoid pushing the most expensive 'pro' models on residential customers. They're usually overkill. The right opener depends on your door weight, garage layout, and how you actually use it.

Yes. LiftMaster MyQ Wi-Fi, Chamberlain Smart, and Genie Aladdin Connect are our most-installed smart models. Setup includes app pairing, geofencing config, and integration with HomeKit / Alexa / Google Home if you use them.
How long do garage door openers last?+
A quality belt-drive opener (LiftMaster, Chamberlain) lasts 12-15 years with normal use. Chain drives last 10-12. Most failures we see are 1-2 burned-out capacitors or worn gears.
